I. Structural Features:
- Channel-type tunnel structure with a single-layer track inside.
- Hot air is supplied by dedicated heat sources (such as kiln waste heat, hot air furnaces) and blown uniformly along the tunnel direction through fans.
- Brick green bodies advance at a constant speed on kiln cars, sequentially undergoing preheating, constant-temperature drying, and cooling stages
II. Process Features:
- Due to the reciprocating operation of the carriage, drying time is more flexible, making it suitable for various types of green bodies.
- Hot air circulation is utilized, resulting in relatively lower energy consumption.
- Better drying uniformity, especially suitable for cases with higher moisture content in wet green bodies or thicker/heavier green bodies.
III. Applicability:
- More suitable for brick factories with larger production volumes and diversified product ranges.
- The investment cost and control system requirements are higher than those of through-the-wall systems.
